We have begun our Christmas unit, well I should say I am trying to incorporate as much holiday as possible. I have become somewhat addicted to this blog 1st grade parade, she has some amazing ideas. I bought a really cute template and we made her cute little elves and used their shirts to hold our writing prompt "I love the holidays because" and "For Christmas I want". They are so adorable, one of my favorites was by my sweet little girl who wrote " I love the holidays because there is no school. They were able to decorate their sweet elves, they each match their sweet and unique personalities.

I have The Teacher's Night Before Christmas too..It is one of my favorites. I also love one called Mortimer's Christmas Manger...it is a sweet story. :)
