Sunday Funday

:Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Sunday,we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.
Gotta love Old School ;)

Operation 1st Birthday!

Party planning has begun for Miss Carly Rae's 1st birthday. The theme:
I'm very excited, this theme has so many cute ideas! I'm trying not to go overboard because it easily could be done!!
Yesterday I purchased the finishing touches for party favors ( they turned out cute!!), invites are picked out and birthday outfits are done! I even found the cutest smash cake onsie yesterday! Best part, it was on clearance for $1.00!!
Bailey has nominated herself to be in charge of all the games and food! Yep she loves to throw a party, too!
In all the excitement it is a little sad when you think about how fast a year can go by.

9 months and so full of life!
Love both of my girls so very much!!

Girls trip July 2013

30 hours , a gazzilion toll booths, 30 something wrong turns, 3 malls, a target, a trip to downtown Disney and a billion " mom, are we there yet", my trip with my two princesses has come to an end! Taking a break from unpacking , I snapped a pic that pretty much explains just how much fun we had!
These two are wiped out!! As is mommy dearest!! I have never in my life walked as much as I did yesterday!! My neck, oh my, I popped it 3 times just on the way home, turning to pass drinks, gum.. You know the things kids need as you are going 70 down the interstate!!
I cannot wait to upload our pictures,  I am so grateful that God allowed me to be a mother to these two sweet girls!
I will say though, as much fun as I had, I am ready for Jay to be home!

Growing up/older

As my  littles grow up I'm reminded that I am growing older too. Making the most of our family time together is the most important thing in my life. Today we took advantage of our free pass to skate station, Bailey had a blast skating and sweet Carly Rae, well she  went to sleep to the song 🎤 baby got back!! ha! Wonderful day!!

Christmas in July

Last night out of the blue, Bailey began writing a letter to Santa. I know, it's July! It was so sweet listening to her as she talked about all she had been given through the years and how many birthdays she thought Jesus  had celebrated . As she finished up her letter and sat it up on the counter, I knew it was time to dig around for buttercup!

What could be better than a response from Santa delivered by her favorite little elf?!
She woke up and I eagerly pointed her into his direction of course she walked by him for 20 minutes! I decided to just get dressed, that's when I heard it, the scream!! Moooooom...loooook...mom oh my goodness he's back!!! She even had tears in her eyes, good gracious she had me in tears!!
I love the little surprises I can do for my girls, the ones that cost nothing to do but make the greatest impact!!

Picture Perfect

Pictures are worth a thousand words, that is for sure.
I will look back at these photos for years to come and I will be reminded of all the good times our family shared during our family vacation with the Russel siblings.
Jay is very blessed to have such a tight, supportive family.
We spent the weekend with his two sisters and two brothers, their significant others and my four beautiful nieces.
 We had an amazing time!
Taking a break from all the fun, my sister in law was sweet enough to capture some family pictures for me.

Love my little girls
Georgia trip with Russel family

Thankful for my sister in law who was able to capture some family pics for me.

Yes, this was a pinterest idea that worked! I love it!!!

he truly is my everything

It is vey hard to get 6 children under the age of 7 to smile and look at the camera at the same time.
Carly Rae was not having it during this photo shoot, the fact that she is even looking at the camera is a shock.
All the other photos have her screaming and crawling to get away!

Georgia to Florida

*first time blogging from my phone and I have no clue how to get pictures to not post in random parts of blog 😉
Here we go, on the road again. Our destination , home! Enjoyed our family vacation but really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and more so, I look forward to Carly Rae in her crib. Poor baby girl, she does not care for her pack and play to much!
With all the craziness in life it's great to be able to take a break from " reality" and just enjoy having nothing pressing on your mind. We woke up early Friday, jumped in our car and headed for Blairsville ,Ga. This was Baileys millionth road trip but Carly Raes 1st ( besides the normal road trip to work or grandmoms), I was a bit nervous. However, she was perfect! Thank the Lord that I was blessed with babies that don't mind being strapped in a car seat, as much as we are on the go, that could be bad.
Our cabin was gorgeous, it was built along side a lake, with beautiful mountains surrounding. We spent a lot of time just hanging out,  watching all the cousins play, jumping off the dock and of course eating! Oh my gosh, 6 months of pretty good eating and lots of exercise, went down the drain! But hey, one salad doesn't make you skinny so I'm sure a gazzilion pancakes, buffalo chicken, hamburgers, fries and chocolate  brownies with peanut butter topping can't make you fat, right?! Who cares though! Vacation is a time to just get crazy and I guess that's what you can call me when I decided to " go with the flow" and take Carly Rae down the river in a tube with mild rapids and even crazier taking her twice. Oh my though, she loved it! Bailey of course my little daredevil went three times!! Daddy was a trooper and of course was nominated father of the year, having a father involved so much in their children's life, there are no words. All I know is that I feel so blessed.
Here are a couple of pics from our trip, I'm blogging from my iPhone ( yes, I'm trying to pass by the time on this wonderful 6 hour trip home), so I'm limited on amount of pics.
