Yes, I'm addicted to crafting!

I am so excited about this upcoming school year I can barely contain myself! With school comes more crafting fun, back to school teacher gifts (its good for Bailey to start out on the right foot, ha), student/parent gift (can't wait to post these!!), co=worker gifts. Yes thats a lot of gifts, but oh the fun I will have making them!

 Its 12:10 (a.m) and my floor is covered in craft supplies, I seriously have 10 projects I am working on at the same time. See here is the problem with blogging, I find myself finding to many "ideas" and I feel the need to do them all. I have said it 100 times and I will say it again, I LOVE CRAFTING AND ALL THINGS THAT GO WITH IT! So what am I working on tonight....

been collecting starbucks bottles (apparently this is the rave on blog bday party land, simply peel off label use a little goo gone to get the "goo" off and spray paint lid. An inexpensive gift box.  In some way maybe I made the earth a bit greener :)

Where has my summer gone!?

Seriously, we just got out of school it seems and now we have less than 3 weeks till we go back! I remember sitting back around spring break with this list of all the things I was going to get done during the summer, now the end is drawing near and my list..well, lets just say we have been having so much fun that I didn't get to a lot of it! So the next three weeks I have set some goals

Summer Goals:
1. Clean out closets.
2.Take clothes to consinment
3.Scrub baseboards
4.Clean windows
5.Read two books (no, watching the movie does not count)!
6.Complete at least 3 holidays in scrapbook
7.Complete back to school favors
8.Get my address changed on ALL mail
9.GO get Bailey's VPK certificate
10. Upload all summer photos to shutterfly and print book!

Looks like I may be busy but hoping to knock this out in a couple of days with lots of coffee and not so much sleep! Happy Summer, hope you are having as much fun as we are!!!!!

Girls Just Wanna...Scrap!

Since Jay's promotion a year ago and our move I've been asked a hundred times "why don't you find a job closer to your new place". Well, that answer is quite simple...The girls above! I love that all my best friends are also my co-workers. I love that not only are they all sweet, caring, thoughtful and a bit crazy..they are also crafty! So when Connie and I decided on a all night scrap-a-thon I knew it was gonna be a long night!

I guess the only thing good about our other home not selling (please god let it soon) is,  it was the perfect setting for an exciting night! Everyone showed up with food and ideas and the scrapping did not end until 8:00 the next morning! Yes, we scrapped from 6pm until 8 the next morning..with the help of lots of coffee and lots of laughs! WOW it was CRAZY!

Our theme for the upcoming school year in our grade level is a "Woodland Theme", so each of us that were there decided on a animal and with the help of our awesome cricut machines and Franne's create a critter cartridge we went to town. I hope to post more pics later, not all of our projects are finished as of yet. I am loving though what we have created so far!

Hello Big Girl Bike!

July 11, 2011 the day my baby said goodbye to her training wheels and hello to her big girl bike! Bailey did awesome riding back and forth to her daddy and I, as we got further and further apart she had no idea, her face beaming, she rode across our yard, down the driveway even turning around to come back! Good Job Bailey!! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!!!!!

Teacher Jackpot!

There are days you go shopping and find nothing (normally when you have some money), then there are the days you are out and find everything (normalyy whe you have no money) and then there are the days when gods grace falls upon you and you hit the jackpot and have a little cash! If you are a teacher you can relate with the fact of always "stocking up" if I see something that may sit up for 6 months I will buy it especially if its a good deal-the deals I found to today were awesome. Hopefullly you can use some of this stuff as well!

Avery Turns 1

This weekend we came togther with the Russel family to celebrate baby Avery's (as Bailey calls her) 1st birthday. Bailey was so excited about this party, she is in love to say the least with Avery. She has a whole collections of little trinkets all named baby Avery! My sister n law did an amazing job! Everything about the party was beautiful Enjoy!
